Tabitha Frank | Photographer
Charlotte, NC, USA
Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, raised by a family that didn’t prioritize travel. I made it a personal goal to explore beyond what I knew—visiting other countries and learning from their cultures. On my first trip to Israel in 2012, I discovered a love for photography, and from that point on I began carrying my camera with me wherever I go.
Every place, for me, exists as a brief moment in time, shaped by the understanding that I will never return to it in the same way again. Because of that, I’m drawn to noticing what appears along the way. My photographic work emerges from close attention to detail while passing through, capturing fleeting moments in a thoughtful and creative way—both to revisit the memory and to share it with others. Creativity has always been part of my life. As a child, I enjoyed drawing, painting, scrapbooking, and making things with my hands. In college, I majored in Japanese and developed a deep appreciation for Japan, which continues to influence my work and my camera of choice, Fujifilm. While much of my current collection was photographed in Japan, it also includes images from Italy and the United States.
Each photograph is offered as a fine art print, made to be lived with and displayed in homes, offices, hotels, restaurants, and other spaces. Whether you’re looking for a single statement piece or a collection for a whole space, the prints can be browsed by place, subject, color, and mood to find work that suits the room.
Every print is made by a local print shop here in Charlotte, so I can check the color and quality of each one before it reaches you. If you’d like your print framed, I’m happy to recommend a local framer I trust.
